Share the Wealth
Multi-Level Marketing vs. Referral-Profit MarketingThe following is an explanation of some of the most common, perceived differences between Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) and Referral-Profit Marketing. (RPM) Our "Share The Wealth" program is designed with very specific advances incorporated into it. Below is a comparison of some of the most important advances, as we see them, made by Amico Educational Concepts (AEC) with the distribution of "JA" products. This is in no way to be a representation of ALL MLM businesses. It is only intended to compare some perceptions that exist. MULTI-LEVEL MARKETING (MLM)Focus: Some manufacturers claim, for a variety of reasons, that they are product driven, yet their emphasis is usually on setting up new distributors. These distributors are usually inexperienced at representing manufacturers and have little or no product knowledge. Participation: Most manufacturers address the residential market. They usually do not allow for corporate or retail involvement unless authorized by them. Initial order: Usually your first purchase consists of sales information, such as tapes, literature and sales aids. Though not required, again, for a variety of reasons, that purchase is strongly recommended to help educate you. Minimum purchase requirements: None, but to earn commissions, you generally need to spend a significant amount of money, monthly. Cost of doing business: Little or no support is provided or assumed my the manufacturer. Income incentive: Some manufacturers encourage you to increase your sales volume by sponsoring new distributors, rather than adding new customers. Most manufacturers advertise how you can change your job and lifestyle. Market saturation: Most MLM manufacturers encourage local, centralize sales presentations made to family and friends. Although, you are not prohibited to solicit anywhere, the cost burden would be too much for most individuals. The house party concept is a good example. Most distributors reach their market saturation point much too soon. REFERRAL-PROFIT MARKETING (RPM)
