The Edge NewsRAZOR'S EDGE NEWSLETTER THE EDGE NEWS We hope that all of you had a really great holiday season. Looking into our crystal ball for guidance in 2002, we find that it is rather foggy. In addition to our current situation and changes in our lifestyles, as a result of Sept. 11th, we are confronted with poor economic conditions. It may take some time for us to adapt but adapt and prosper, we will. After all, we're Americans. RENOVATIONS As you may have noticed, we were able to get some minor renovations accomplished. Our new lighting is designed to brighten up the shop and help us to more accurately achieve desired color formulations. Oh yeah, the lighting has plenty to do with hair color formulations. Along with the freshly painted ceiling, we can achieve consistent results. We hoped to have been able to afford to do a lot more but decided that it was more important to keep our prices as low as possible, especially during this recessionary period. PRICE ADJUSTMENT Unfortunately, after almost two years, we did have to adjust some of our service prices. Fortunately, most stayed the same and those that increased were very minor. We're sure that you all understand the need for us to stay financially sound. In fact I'm happy to announce that we must be doing something right because we have found that we are considerably less expensive than some of our competition. LET US KNOW WHAT YOU THINK During this year we will be having workshops and classes designed for our industry. We would like to know if you might be interested in attending any seminars designed for our community, as a whole. Our concept being to help communicate with, not only our clients but with all residents of Palm Beach Gardens and vicinity. These seminars would be specifically geared to explaining what we do and why we do it. Much to often, we find that the consumer is left out in the cold, especially in our industry and is subjected to very little real information. Home hair care, for example could be one of many subjects that we could discuss. We would also take suggestions from our guests as to what other subjects might be of interest to them and discuss them at future seminars. Of course, these would be free seminars and run an hour or two during evening hours.
Please consider if you, your family and friends might find these
seminars of interest? Since we do education for salons and stylists
regularly, we thought that the consumer could also benefit from some knowledge,
rather than having TV and the newspapers, as your only source. We know
how much everybody enjoys advertising and junk mail
